Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.

There comes a time in the seeker's life when he discovers that he is at once the lover and the beloved. The aspiring soul which he embodies is the lover in him. And the transcendental Self which he reveals from within is his Beloved.

Look into the depths of your own soul and learn first to know yourself, then you will understand why this illness was bound to come upon you and perhaps you will thenceforth avoid falling ill.

You will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need.

No one has ever learned fully to know themselves.

The self is only that which it is in the process of becoming.

One must know oneself. If this does not serve to discover truth, it at least serves as a rule of life and there is nothing better.

Sometimes the best way to figure out who you are is to get to that place where you don't have to be anything else.
